Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Ambulatory Care Specialist to join our team. As a Travel Nurse RN Ambulatory Care Specialist, you will provide expert care to patients with complex medical needs in an ambulatory infusion setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in an ambulatory infusion setting, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical histories, current conditions, and treatment plans to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in ambulatory care, incorporating this knowledge into patient care and education.
Requirements
  • Current unencumbered RN license in Oregon
  • Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification
  • LCH Amb Infusion: AHA ACLS certification
  • IV Therapy experience preferred
  • PICC and midline proficiency preferred
  • Chemotherapy experience required
  • Infusion (CRNI) and/or Oncology (OCN) national certification preferred
