About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Autumnwood of McBain, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing delicious, nourishing meals that meet the daily nutritional and special dietary needs of our guests. You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that every meal is a culinary delight.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents
  • Follow standardized recipes and menu cycles developed by registered dietitians
  • Supervise culinary staff and ensure that food storage, preparation, and cleaning standards are met
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure that every meal is a success
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year of experience as a cook or dietary aide in an institutional food service setting preferred
