Job Overview: Forklift Battery Technician

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Battery Technician to join our team at Barton Staffing Solutions. As a key member of our industrial services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of forklift batteries and chargers.

About the Role:

In this role, you will diagnose and repair forklift battery issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, and maintain accurate inventory records. You will also collaborate with internal teams and external customers to resolve issues and improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair forklift battery issues, including acid adjustments and rebuilds
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all changing system parts
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on forklift batteries and chargers
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external customers to resolve issues and improve processes

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in forklift battery maintenance and repair
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and occasionally more
