We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN to join our team at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery unit.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and monitoring fetal heart rates.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and postpartum hemorrhages.
- Document patient information, including medical history, allergies, and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure patient satisfaction and safety.
- BCLS, NRP, and C-EFM certifications required.
- DC License and C-EFM required.
- Minimum 18 months of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Ability to work 36HRS or 48HRS D/N shifts.
- Ability to work 4 weekend shifts per contract.
- Circulate experience preferred.
- Scrub experience preferred.
