We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Charter Senior Living. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist other technicians in performing technical activities and provide support as needed.
- Explain complex technical diagnoses and repairs to non-technical individuals, including employees and customers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology by attending formal training sessions and learning new technical information.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
- Communicate effectively with store management to report mechanical repair issues and provide solutions.
- 2 years of experience in automotive mechanical diagnosis, problem-solving, and repair.
- ASE-certifications and/or manufacturer training are a plus.
- Knowledge of general maintenance services, including oil changes, flushes, and more.
- Experience with brakes, suspension, mufflers, and alignments.
- Strong customer service skills, verbal communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude.
