Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payment Processing Specialist to join our team at Eco-Life Employment Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payment processing and reconciliation, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Reconcile daily postings and prepare deposits for check transactions
  • Identify and monitor customer over-payments and prepare customer refunds
  • Resolve inquiries from customers, internal and external, regarding payment applications, refunds, payment rejections, and payment adjustments
  • Validate daily reconciliation of all payment and non-payment postings

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year previous work experience in payment processing or banking
  • Excellent PC operating skills (keyboard, mouse) with working knowledge of MS Office to include Word and Excel
  • Ability to effectively communicate information verbally and in writing
  • Ability to review data for accuracy and completeness

Physical Demands:

This position requires a substantial amount of walking, some standing, sitting in an office environment, and light lifting such as three or four reams of paper or books (up to 20 pounds or an equivalent weight) may be required.
