Position Overview

The Chief Technologist, PET/CT and PET/MRI in Nuclear Medicine is responsible for leading the development and implementation of innovative imaging technologies. This individual will oversee the operations of diagnostic and therapeutic services using radioactive materials, ensuring exceptional service quality and compliance with regulations.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Develops and implements strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.
  2. Cultivates strong relationships with physicians and health physicists to drive collaborative efforts.
  3. Monitors and analyzes data to identify opportunities for quality improvement.
  4. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement new imaging technologies.
  5. Serves as a subject matter expert in Nuclear Medicine, providing guidance and support.
Qualifications
  • Possesses exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates expertise in research-oriented patient care systems.
  • Leads with a servant-leadership style, inspiring commitment among team members.
  • Maintains a deep understanding of University policies and procedures.
  • Successful track record in supervising and managing team functions.
  • Possesses CNMT certification, with NMTCB, ARRT or CRT preferred.
  • Holds BLS certification, demonstrating commitment to patient safety.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine, with 5 years in PET/CT.
  • Ability to travel to multiple clinic sites.
