We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with customers and patients to resolve issues and answer questions.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of good relationships with the local medical community, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
- Prefer good math skills and computer skills.
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory control and PTCB certification.
