Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all program-related IT needs, collaborating closely with stakeholders to define requirements and implement solutions.
- Design, install, configure, and maintain secure communication networks, encompassing LAN, WAN, and voice systems.
- Proactively identify and resolve network issues, employing your expertise in troubleshooting techniques and protocols such as spanning-tree, OSPF, and BGP.
- Implement robust security measures to protect IT assets across Linux, Windows, and network domains, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Leverage scripting and automation tools (Ansible, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, Shell Scripting) to streamline system administration tasks and enhance efficiency.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in the field of infrastructure engineering, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Polygraph is mandatory.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
- Proven experience managing operating systems throughout their lifecycle, including installation, upgrades, patching, imaging, account management, and performance monitoring.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Windows Servers and Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments.
- In-depth knowledge of vulnerability remediation and security management tools (Nessus, McAfee, WSUS, SCCM, Ivanti, Shavlik, Blade Logic, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS).
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with container creation and management platforms like Docker, Podman, Kubernetes.
