Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Landscape Architect to join our team in New Britain. As a key member of our urban planning department, you will be responsible for overseeing municipal landscape architecture and planning projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field and 4+ years of experience in landscape architecture. You will also be proficient in design software such as AutoCAD or Civil 3D and have excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee plan reviews, site inspections, and preparation of comprehensive plans and reports
  • Prioritize and manage multiple clients/projects
  • Develop solutions to technical problems
  • Prepare grant applications and administer grants for various local, county, state, and federal programs

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture or related area
  • Registered Professional Landscape Architect in Pennsylvania or desire to become one with a plan
  • 4+ years of Landscape Architecture experience
  • Design program experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D

Benefits

Candidates will receive vacation and holiday pay, including up to 2 weeks of vacation and 6 major holidays during the initial 12-month period. We offer a supportive environment, helping to train engineers and mentoring them to continue to grow, pass their EIT, and eventually become a PE.
