Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our Agile development team, you will be responsible for driving consistent development practices, analyzing business features, and working closely with Product Owners to prioritize features and manage technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing all technical development for assigned applications, including architecture, design, and testing.
  • Working with Product Owners to refine business features and user stories.
  • Managing a list of technical requirements and prioritizing features based on industry trends and business needs.
  • Developing and implementing RESTful APIs, and performing unit and assembly testing.
  • Supporting integration and performance tests, and providing demos to technical and product partners.
  • Performing peer code reviews, making design decisions, and managing technical debt.
  • Enabling the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of software development experience.
  • 3+ years of development experience with Java (minimum Java 8).
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, Relational and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Deep understanding of multithreading concepts and experience developing robust and scalable distributed serverside applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Science Engineering, or related field.
