Job Summary

The Physical Therapy Technician plays a vital role in supporting our team's success. As a key member of our staff, you will assist patients in achieving their recovery objectives and improving their overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient support and comfort, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Display outstanding customer service skills and offer encouragement when needed.
  • Follow the plan of care established by the therapist, ensuring seamless patient care.
  • Assist therapists with non-clinical tasks and support patient success in therapy.
  • Educate patients on equipment usage, ensuring safe and correct application.
  • Assist patients with light exercises and strengthening techniques.
  • Apply therapeutic modalities, such as heat/ice packs and electrical stimulation, as needed.
  • Provide assistance with patient mobility, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Maintain effective communication with patients, physicians, and staff, including follow-ups as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with patients and colleagues.
  • Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and sanitized.
  • Comply with all procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Monitor and record patient progress, reporting to the Physical Therapist as needed.
Requirements
  • No specific education or experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
  • Pursuing a physical therapist or other healthcare degree is ideal.
