About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Right at Home Birmingham. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of our Physical Therapists to provide high-quality patient care and support individuals with physical impairments.

Responsibilities
  • Treat patients with physical impairments through the use of physical modalities, under the direction of our Physical Therapists.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function.
  • Collaborate with our Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in in-service training and education to maintain current knowledge and skills.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Alabama.
  • Minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably in home health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
