Job Description

We are seeking a Substitute Education Professional to join our team at Dalton Public Schools. As a Substitute Education Professional, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, supporting the education of our students and teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide substitute teaching services to students in grades K-12
  • Support teachers and staff with lesson plans, classroom management, and other educational tasks
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students, teachers, and school staff
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
