Job Title: RN Clinical Supervisor

The RN Clinical Supervisor is a key member of the physician practice management team at Berkshire Health Systems. This role serves as the lead clinician, working collaboratively with the Practice Management team to supervise clinical staff in an Ambulatory setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and assign work activities of clinical staff
  • Monitor work schedules and support quality initiatives
  • Improve workflows and clinical effectiveness
  • Lead nursing practice oversight and train new staff
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional team to provide patient-centered care
  • Systematically collect and assess data to develop and evaluate patient care plans
  • Utilize evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice
  • Establish goals and strategies for care coordination across settings
  • Delegate and supervise care in accordance with policies and regulations
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
  • One year of supervisory experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • RN License in Massachusetts
  • CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Physician practice experience
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field

The RN Clinical Supervisor must demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills, leadership abilities, and interpersonal skills. They must also be able to independently assess patients and implement appropriate care plans. This role requires a high level of customer service, critical thinking, and the ability to work in high-stress situations.
