Job Title: Burn ICU Registered Nurse

UW Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Burn ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with burns and wounds, working collaboratively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

About the Role:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with burns and wounds, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless transitions of care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • At least six months of nursing experience or current participation in UW Health's Nurse Residency Program with successful completion of the Nurse Residency Orientation on unit/similar unit required.
  • Relevant RN experience preferred.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or holds a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact required.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required.
  • ACLS within six months required.
  • PALS within six months required.
  • Relevant certification preferred.
