Responsibilities

As a Certified Geriatric Caregiver, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing personalized care and support to residents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social needs
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Encouraging residents to participate in recreational activities and therapies
  • Monitoring residents' health status and reporting any changes to licensed nurses
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) license
