Transportation Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to lead our transportation operations team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods across the country.
Key Responsibilities- Lead with a safety-first mindset to ensure the well-being of our drivers, customers, and the general public.
- Develop and implement safety procedures and training programs to maintain a culture of safety within the transportation department.
- Oversee and develop drivers and transportation associates through coaching, training, and performance management.
- Direct and supervise the work of drivers and clerical associates within the transportation department.
- Build high-performing teams by participating in interviewing and hiring transportation personnel.
- Monitor production goals and maintain a zero-error attitude to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
- Experience as a driver a plus.
- Broad knowledge of transportation/delivery operations, methods, and procedures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.
- Strong understanding of DOT requirements and familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Competitive salary range of $66,000 to $88,000.
- Annual incentive plan.

This role requires frequent travel, typically for mandatory meetings and/or training. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the physical activities required for this role, including standing, walking, driving, and lifting up to 100 pounds.
Education/TrainingA high school diploma or GED is required; a college degree is preferred.
