Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Center Courtesy Technician to join our team at SpeeDee Oil Change and Auto Service. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers' vehicles receive the highest level of care.

Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and provide a positive first impression by placing seat covers in their vehicle
  • Drive vehicles into the service bay, prepare them for service, and perform Tech Talk service
  • Prepare service documents and affix static stickers
  • Perform courtesy cleaning, including vacuuming the interior, washing exterior windows, and cleaning headlamps and mirrors
  • Visually inspect wiper blades and check and adjust tire pressure as needed
  • Reset oil indicator lights and start vehicles to check oil pressure
  • Present vehicles to customers and thank them for their business
Requirements
  • Customer service skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities
  • Basic literacy and math skills
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles and use mechanical hand tools
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • No previous experience or training required, but a valid state driver's license is necessary
