Night Patient Care Associate

Position SummaryQualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must possess a valid Maryland State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification.
- Basic Life Support – Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification through an accredited organization is mandatory.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time role with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three days a week, including rotating weekends and holidays. A shift differential is included. Initial hospital orientation may last up to two weeks during daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities- Under moderate supervision, assist in a variety of patient care tasks for individuals assigned to nursing units.
- Work under the delegated authority and supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to the standards set forth in the Annotated Code of Maryland.
- To be eligible for this position, candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, current CNA certification in Maryland, and a valid BLS certification. For telemetry and ICCU roles, candidates must pass a basic arrhythmia exam and demonstrate the ability to recognize critical rhythms within six months of employment.
