As a Dental Hygienist, You Will

You will be recognized as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate. With best-in-class support, you will be 100% supported as you provide exceptional lifetime care to your patients. Our team is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, and we require a tuberculosis (TB) test for all new hires in dental office positions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current dental hygienist license in Ohio and an Associate or Bachelor degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
  • CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

We are looking for candidates with experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems. A desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients dental health is also a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
  • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
