Salary and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $250,000 - $300,000, depending on experience. We also offer temporary hospital privileges, beeper call coverage, and assistance with travel and lodging.
Job Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care, focusing on both diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, and liver biopsy.
- Manage gastrointestinal bleeding and use of specialized tools, including the Sengstaken/Blakemore tube.
- Call responsibilities are required, with a focus on weekend coverage, with a response time for beeper call within 30 minutes.
- Must be board certified in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship is required.
- Must have a valid Pennsylvania medical license or be eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
