Police Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the Fairview Police Department. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for providing responsive and courteous police services in the protection of life and property through the enforcement of laws and ordinances.

• Patrol assigned areas to respond to citizens' requests for assistance, enforce traffic regulations, detect crime, apprehend violators, and assure public safety.
• Investigate crimes and accidents, secure and process crime and accident scenes, and identify and collect evidence within scope of authority.
• Arrest law violators, transport and process suspects, victims, and prisoners.
• Complete detailed reports and required paperwork, serve warrants and court documents.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment according to Department standards.
• Represent the Department at court hearings, prepare reports, and testify in court cases.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 21 years of age and have a clear criminal record.
• Law enforcement or related experience preferred.
• Must meet all required TCOLE requirements to be licensed as a police officer.
