About the Role

The Partner Engineering team at Crunchyroll plays a pivotal role in enhancing and expanding our users' experiences. As a Partner Engineer, you will lead deployments, optimize implementations, and handle integrations to build successful, long-term partnerships.

You will own technical engagements and be the key driver in finding creative and innovative solutions that lead Crunchyroll's experiences to the next level. You will have the opportunity to lead projects that require close collaboration with other teams, including Product, Engineering, Business Development, Program Management, and Marketing.

You will play a key role in improving existing operations, defining and commercializing new solutions, bridging product gaps, automating partner operations, and taking new initiatives from conception to successful deployment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop prototypes and MVPs for testing and deployment of new systems.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our Partner Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building complex systems in collaboration with partners and experience working with various web technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML5, React, and WebSockets.

The candidate will also have a strong background in client-side Java, systems, and Python, as well as experience with client-server and scalable technologies. Additionally, the candidate will have the ability to speak to both business and technical stakeholders and previous exposure to integrating payment systems.

Platform experience with Android TV, Apple TV, Chrome OS, or Web OS is a plus.
