About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Surgical Consultant to join our team at the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a critical role in driving growth and expanding our presence in the cardiac surgery market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and educate combined CT/Heart Failure programs on the proper use of the Impella 5.5 with SmartAssist
  • Provide full customer immersion and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Train and educate on Impella 5.0/LD and Breethe Oxy-1 systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Commercial, Training, Engineering, Marketing, and Clinical
  • Maintain contact with customers to evaluate clinical and educational needs
  • Perform device training on full Impella Surgical Device line-up
  • Cultivate close relationships with strategic business partners and key opinion leaders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Surgical Physician's Assistant (PA), or Perfusionist licensure
  • Direct experience in Cardiac Surgery/Perfusion, 5 years preferred
  • Direct patient management experience in a cardiothoracic ICU or CVOR
  • Confidence, expertise, and familiarity of cardiac surgery and OR protocol
  • Willingness to travel and cover multiple geographies
