About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant with a background in Audit to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent position within the Finance industry that offers excellent growth opportunities and a competitive salary package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive audits of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and industry regulations.
  • Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial processes.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of audits and adherence to audit schedules.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify potential areas of financial misstatement or fraud.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of audit plans and strategies.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficient in the use of audit software and accounting systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
  • Strong ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
