Job Summary

This is a Per Diem Rotating RN Acute Obstetrics Tier II position at Carondelet Holy Cross Hospital. The successful candidate will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities
  • Implements and monitors patient care plans.
  • Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements
  • Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Arizona Licensed in 30 days.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or others as required by individual department.
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.
Work Environment

This is a Per Diem Rotating position, which means the candidate will work a variable schedule, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. The candidate will be required to work a minimum of 16 hours per pay period and a maximum of 40 hours per pay period.
