Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel MRI Technologist to join our team at Focus Staff. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in MRI technology and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for performing patient studies according to set protocols, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient and staff safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Perform patient studies according to set protocols, including placing specified coils close to areas of interest.
  • Operate imaging and other equipment devices to ensure quality diagnostic services are provided.
  • Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and address their concerns.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements:
  • Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist.
  • License in required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
Work Environment:

This is a contract/temporary/travel position with a 13-week duration. The work environment will be in a hospital setting with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.
