Responsibilities

The Safety and Security Officer is responsible for providing security services, which include electronic surveillance and systematic patrols throughout the facility. This role involves coordinating responses to various potential issues affecting patients, staff, and visitors. The officer will enforce policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent application. The position requires adherence to established guidelines and ongoing monitoring to maintain a secure workplace and a safe environment for care. Collaboration with the Environment of Care committee is essential to ensure a comprehensive approach to safety and security. Participation in employee training and awareness initiatives is also a key responsibility. Driving may be required for company-related duties.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Prior experience in healthcare security or a related field is preferred.

2. Valid State Guard Certification Registration Card.

3. High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.

Facility Specific Requirements

The facility may require the following:

1. Valid State Driver's License upon hire.

2. Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.
