Automotive Service Consultant

Key Responsibilities:- Field internal and external customer inquiries for the Service Department
- Open and maintain work orders until they are closed and invoiced
- Update customer profiles using equipment, hours, or other information from customer work orders
- Maintain service accessories and supplies, and prepare replacement orders when necessary
- Prepare warranty and/or product improvement for submission by the Central Warranty Administrator
- Assist customers with mower or equipment loading/unloading when necessary
- Close and process RO's for payment when needed
- Assist technicians and provide part service, including parts lookup, pulling parts from parts stock, and processing MD orders (where applicable)
- Assist on the parts counter when necessary
- Assist with loading/unloading trucks when necessary (where applicable)
- Act as an ambassador for the dealership and protect the positive dealership image, while promoting customer loyalty and goodwill
- Basic knowledge of accounting practices
- Ability to use standard desktop load applications, such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Knowledge of office procedures
- General understanding of mechanical/technical terms is preferred
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Daily - short and long distances
- Dexterity Ability to grasp and manipulate tools and parts
