Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Facilities Planner to join our team at Kings County Hospital Center. As a key member of our facilities management department, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing the allocation of physical space within our hospital.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in architectural planning, with experience in space planning and allocation for healthcare facilities. You will work closely with senior leadership, clinical, and non-clinical departments to understand their space needs and make recommendations for optimal utilization of physical space.

With a strong focus on project management, you will oversee the coordination of various departments, including Facilities, EVS, IT, and Telecomm, to ensure successful space moves. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously will be essential in ensuring the timely completion of space allocation projects involving construction and renovation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and execute the allocation of physical space within the hospital, working closely with senior leadership and clinical and non-clinical departments.
  2. Oversee the coordination of various departments, including Facilities, EVS, IT, and Telecomm, to ensure successful space moves.
  3. Manage the refurbishment of furniture, purchasing of equipment, and storage of furniture for further use.
  4. Use project management software to ensure successful completion of implementation milestones and goals.
