Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or actively pursuing licensure.
  • At least one year of professional experience in speech therapy.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • CCC's (Certified Clinical Competence) in speech therapy.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.

Job Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist will assess patients with speech, hearing, and language deficits, providing treatment to improve communication skills. The SLP will also teach patients to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow safely.

  • Provide skilled speech therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
  • Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet speech therapy goals.
  • Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.
