Position Overview:

The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the operations of the housekeeping department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and directing all housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Conducting inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and service areas to ensure cleanliness and order.
  • Training, motivating, coaching, and providing guidance to staff members.
  • Implementing a regular cleaning schedule.
  • Preparing weekly staff schedules.
  • Managing supply and linen inventories.
  • Updating room statuses in the management system.
  • Responding promptly and courteously to housekeeping requests from guests or management.
Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English.
  • Previous supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • General knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety practices is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and carry up to 10 pounds.
  • Capability to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing, and pulling.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility in hours and days worked.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse personalities.
Compensation:
The compensation for this role is $17.00 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
