Telecommunications Project Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Project Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of project-related telecommunications, including building renovations, new buildings, acquisitions, and equipment migrations.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of telecommunications services and applications, including hard-wired and wireless Cisco, Centrex, Nortel, Siemens, Spectralink phones and headsets, televisions, overhead paging, and basic telecom transport facilities (PRI, POTS, SIP, Opt-E-MAN, IP TV etc.). They will also have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, CAD software, email, and the internet.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will design solutions to meet customer needs, utilize a consulting style approach to advise customers on available telecom products and services, and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Main Responsibilities

    • Estimate costs for infrastructure, hardware, applications, and accessories
  • Pinnacle Project Inputs
    • Input projects into Pinnacle Telemanagement System
  • Customer Service
    • Continually demonstrate professionalism and respect for teammates and customers

Requirements and Skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training and experience required. Minimum 5 years of telecommunications experience, including project management and financial support.

Workplace Information

Frequent attendance of meetings at various locations, visits to project sites during build-out, and continuous use of telephones requiring ability to hear and speak clearly. Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment, and manage multiple priorities.
