Job OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinary technician to join our team at Broad River Animal Hospital. As a key member of our clinical support team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.Responsibilities
  • Assist veterinarians with medical procedures, including routine exams, surgeries, and diagnostic tests.
  • Perform laboratory tests, such as blood draws and urinalyses, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, including handling, restraint, and monitoring of patients.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, treatments, and test results.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology or a related field preferred.
  • Current certification as a veterinary technician or technologist (CVT or RVT) or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with veterinarians, support staff, and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including Wednesdays, with other days negotiable based on availability and hospital needs.
