Position Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the Jimmy John's Catering initiative within a specified region, building and nurturing client relationships to enhance brand visibility and expand the catering program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a mentor for new team members.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.
  • Follow company policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook.
  • Foster and maintain a positive company culture.
  • Prepare and present sandwiches for promotional events and sampling as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld in the store.
  • Adhere to food safety regulations.
  • Prioritize safety in the workplace and maintain equipment.
  • Work closely with the General Manager and Marketing Manager.
  • Develop and execute strategies for sandwich sampling within the community.
  • Implement local marketing initiatives.
  • Engage in activities to generate sales leads.
  • Conduct outreach calls and follow up with potential clients.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a vehicle, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
  • Food Handlers Card required in certain states.
  • Experience in marketing or sales is preferred.
  • Availability to work flexible hours is essential.
  • Ability to throw a 3" sandwich a minimum of 5 feet.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Open to feedback and coaching.
  • Experience in customer service is a plus.
  • Must exhibit energy, enthusiasm, confidence, and sociability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

Working Conditions:

The role requires the ability to work in a moderately noisy and fast-paced environment, with background music playing at a moderate volume. Safety must be prioritized when using equipment such as slicers, knives, and ovens.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, climb stairs, and walk. The ability to carry sandwiches for delivery to various locations is essential.

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM, with potential variations in schedule.
