Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Mattoon, Illinois. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in assisting in nursing care and preparation of surgical patients by performing scrub duties. Your expertise will be essential in emergency procedures, elective, and scheduled cases.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparation, transportation, and supervision of patients
  • Perform scrub duties and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in emergency procedures and maintain a calm and composed demeanor
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience as a Surgical Technologist
  • BLS (AHA) certification
  • Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) proficiency
  • Ability to scrub eyes
  • Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
  • 2 Supervisory References with dates employed listed
