Caregiver for Seniors

The Nursing Assistant plays a vital role in providing resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN). This position requires knowledge of age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the residents as per their care plans.
Responsibilities:- Provides basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
- Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as needed.
- Aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures if required.
- Documents resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.

Salary InformationThe estimated salary range for this position is $18-$25.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The annual salary would be approximately $37,760 - $52,920 based on a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks per year. However, the actual salary may vary based on factors such as performance, experience, and location.
