Position Overview
The HVAC Technician will collaborate closely with the HVAC Manager to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
Compensation: $35.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities of the HVAC Technician:
- Ensures proper job staging and signs off on quality assurance checklists
- Collaborates with customer service and dispatch teams to promote overall business success
- Follows the company's strategy for swiftly and favorably addressing customer complaints
- Keeps job sites clean and organized, maintaining a well-stocked service vehicle
- Actively participates in training sessions, morning briefings, and vendor technical training
- Mentors and trains apprentices to guarantee timely and high-quality installations
- Maintains accuracy and timeliness in invoicing, timekeeping, and customer feedback documentation
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in heating and cooling systems, including the ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams
- Clean and safe driving record
- Highly organized with strong follow-through capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High integrity with strong interpersonal skills to build solid relationships
- Commitment to continuous improvement as an installer
- Competitive spirit with a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to establish customer rapport to achieve maximum satisfaction
Education and Experience Requirements:
- EPA certification with knowledge of relevant installation and venting regulations
- Experience with ServiceTitan is preferred
- Four to five years of experience in HVAC is preferred
- Residential HVAC experience is preferred
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
