Job Summary: The National Coalition of Healthcare Recruiters is seeking an experienced Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our team in an employed position with an academic affiliation.
About the Role: As an Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and making treatment and medication recommendations. You will also provide psychotherapy to patients during your meetings with them, forming excellent provider-patient alliances.
Work Environment: You will be working in a well-respected university-affiliated teaching hospital that features 24 psychiatry beds and 15 addiction medicine beds. Our multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, and mental health workers.
Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Making treatment and medication recommendations
- Providing psychotherapy to patients
- Forming excellent provider-patient alliances
