Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Speare Memorial Hospital. As a Traveling Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient problems and needs, and develop a plan of care to address them.
  • Implement interventions and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to the plan of care as needed.
  • Manage high-risk pregnancies, including preterm labor, high blood pressure, diabetes, VBAC, prenatal testing, amniocentesis, and childbirth education classes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • 2 years of current OB/L&D experience required.
  • Post-Partum and Mother/Baby experience required.
  • Nursery experience required.
  • Apgar/Routine testing experience required.
  • AWHONN and STABLE certification strongly preferred.
  • Lactation experience preferred.
  • BSN highly preferred.
  • Previous travel experience preferred.
Work Environment

This position requires a nurse who is comfortable with all aspects of delivery and aftercare. The Speare OB Unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and the ideal candidate will be able to thrive in this setting.
