Job Summary

The Department of Veteran Affairs is seeking a highly skilled Dermatology Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dermatology department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive direct patient care in both ambulatory-outpatient and inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose skin disorders and diseases, providing timely and effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough examinations, interpret clinical data, and make informed treatment decisions.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies, and perform minor procedures such as biopsies and cryotherapy.
  • Develop and maintain rapport with patients and relatives, ensuring effective communication and participation in treatment efforts.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to enhance coordination of comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Board certification in dermatology or relevant specialty.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions
