We are seeking a highly skilled Emergency Veterinarian to join our team at USVTA. As a key member of our emergency veterinary practice, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with our experienced team to deliver high-quality emergency and critical care services.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will be responsible for:
- Providing emergency and critical care to patients, including triage, diagnosis, and treatment
- Collaborating with our experienced team to deliver high-quality patient care
- Participating in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage
- Staying up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices in emergency and critical care
USVTA is a well-established, progressive emergency veterinary practice located in Biloxi, MS. We offer a comprehensive range of services, including radiology, comprehensive in-house laboratory diagnostics, ultrasound, on-site blood and plasma bank, and a modern surgical suite. Our hospital and experienced team are dedicated to providing the best possible care to our patients and their owners.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Doctor of Veterinary degree from an accredited university
- A current DEA license or the ability to obtain one upon hire
- An active veterinary state license
- USDA accreditation or the ability to obtain it upon hire
