Cruise Director Job Description

The Cruise Director is a key leadership role within the Entertainment Department, responsible for managing a diverse team and creating memorable experiences for our guests. This position requires a unique blend of creativity, communication skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement entertainment programs and activities that cater to diverse guest interests
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and division heads to create a seamless guest experience
  • Manage a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service
  • Monitor and control budgets, ensuring effective use of resources
  • Provide feedback and coaching to staff members to improve their performance and skills

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of shipboard management or supervisory experience
  • Advanced English verbal and writing skills, including proper grammar
  • Intermediate verbal and writing skills in at least one other language
  • Intermediate to advanced typing and computer software skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a hospitality-related discipline
