We are seeking a skilled Bridge Carpenter to join our team at The H&K Group, Inc. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on a variety of bridge construction projects throughout Northeast PA and the Lehigh Valley.

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, conforming to local building codes.
• Support bridge and other structural projects, including the construction of forms and chutes for pouring concrete.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
• Perform all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel as required for projects.
• Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job).

• 3 months of relevant experience and/or training.
• Experience in heavy civil and highway construction.
• OSHA or other relevant safety certifications.
