Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and a competitive salary package. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, and embolization.
  • Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and patient areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology.
  • Current licensure and certification in Radiologic Technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in new environments.
