Job Description

As a Diagnostic Imaging Professional, you will be responsible for:

  1. Operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue.
  2. Positioning patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
  3. Setting controls on CT equipment, monitoring patient and equipment safety, and making adjustments as needed.
  4. Assisting radiologists with imaging procedures, injecting contrast media, and dispensing oral contrast.
  5. Evaluating CT scans for technical quality and labeling images appropriately.
  6. Scheduling patients for procedures and assisting with clerical functions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Technologist
  • ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
