The Maintenance Technician Level 3 is a key member of the Beck Suppliers Inc. team, responsible for performing maintenance tasks across various facilities and locations. Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot general maintenance issues and communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.
- Follow daily project schedules developed by the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Perform assigned tasks efficiently and competently, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Communicate regularly with the Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Coordinator to address day-to-day issues and optimize efficiency.
- Submit required field activity reports in a timely manner, adhering to Beck Suppliers Inc. procedures.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Coordinator, and Purchasing Manager to plan and procure necessary parts and materials for projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site inventory, ensuring easy access to necessary tools and equipment.
- Complete accident reports accurately and thoroughly, if necessary.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with Beck Suppliers Inc. personnel, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Participate in safety programs and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Provide maintenance services for various work scopes, including fuel systems, buildings, millworks, store equipment, HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, signage, and site maintenance.
- Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to dispatch subcontractors as needed, ensuring projects are completed correctly and to the required standard.
- Cross-train and work with other sub-divisions of the Facilities department as required.
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotations, providing support and assistance as needed.
- No reportable safety violations resulting in lost time or property damage.
- Complete, timely, and professional performance of assigned tasks.
- Maintain effective communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and service requesters.
- Provide accurate and complete paperwork for data entry.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and vehicle inventory.
