Responsibilities:
Under professional guidance, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Your duties will include:
- Supporting clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals according to dietary requirements.
- Performing light housekeeping and running errands to maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborating with community agencies as needed.
- Escorting clients to healthcare appointments.
- Maintaining client confidentiality and respecting their rights.
- Following safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
- Reminding clients to take prescribed medications.
- Engaging clients in social activities.
- Providing childcare assistance as necessary.
- Reporting any changes in client conditions to the supervising professional.
- Documenting daily visits and submitting required paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of supervised experience as a home health aide within the last 3 years.
- Current certification is required.
- Compliance with state and federal regulations, including a mandatory COVID vaccination policy.
