Responsibilities

- Develop, create, and document Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programs for industrial automation systems.
- Design and interpret logic flow diagrams for program implementation, execution, simulation, testing, acceptance, and commissioning.
- Program Human Machine Interface (HMI) graphic displays for industrial applications.
- Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting, modifications, and continuous enhancement for automated control systems.
- Support various communication media and protocols including Wired, Wireless, Ethernet, CAN, and Modbus TCP/IP.
- Assist in the development and configuration of computer hardware to facilitate program input and execution.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical or process control environments is essential.
- Knowledge of cement processes is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in PLC logic and programming, as well as HMI systems and associated hardware/software.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to achieving team objectives.
- Candidates should be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while also being effective team players.
- Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time to various cement plants.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, in English are required.
- MSHA Safety certification is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
